A fire broke that out on the top floor of the domestic parking garage at San Francisco International Airport Tuesday morning was contained as of 7:30 a.m.
Flames were first reported at 6:15 a.m. and as of 7 a.m. firefighters were on the scene putting out the blaze, said airport spokesperson Doug Yakel.
Eight cars were impacted by the fire and one person was treated for breathing difficulty.
Flights are not impacted by the fire. The domestic parking garage temporarily closed and was reopened as of 7:30 a.m.
The cause of the fire is under investigation.
