Coronavirus: L.A. County reported 1,725 new cases and 27 new deaths, Sept. 14

Los Angeles County public health officials reported 1,725 new cases of the coronavirus, bringing the total number of cases to 1,435,163 as of Tuesday, Sept. 14. The total number of cases represents 14.2% of Los Angeles County’s population.

Officials reported 27 new deaths linked to the coronavirus, for a total of 25,713 deaths since tracking began. The total number of deaths represents 0.25% of Los Angeles County’s population.

There were six more hospitalizations reported, bringing the offical count to 1,224.

According to the California Department of Public Health’s vaccines dashboard, 67% of Los Angeles County is fully vaccinated and more than 12,358,774 vaccine doses have been administered as of Sept. 14.
