The world’s biggest social network is having another bad day.
Many reported Friday afternoon that Facebook and its family of apps including Instagram, WhatsApp and Messenger were down.
Facebook confirmed its apps and products were experiencing problems just after 12 p.m.
“We’re aware that some people are having trouble accessing our apps and products,” Facebook said on Twitter. “We’re working to get things back to normal as quickly as possible and we apologize for any inconvenience.”
Facebook said late Monday that “the root cause of this outage was a faulty configuration change” and that there is “no evidence that user data was compromised as a result” of the outage.
Earlier this week, users voiced their frustration over the Facebook outages on Twitter. They were doing it again on Friday.
