VAN NUYS — A fire damaged several commercial units next to Van Nuys Airport Thursday, but no one was hurt.
Firefighters sent to the 16100 block of Saticoy Street — just east of the airport — at 10:17 a.m. extinguished the flames in the single-story building in 34 minutes, according to the Los Angeles Fire Department.
There was no immediate word on the cause of the fire.
